NetPMD Integration Services US Program Gathers Pace

NetPMD Design and Integration Services US Program gathers pace, with the next locations being the Michigan cities of Farmington and Farmington Hills.  Both of these areas are now advancing from the design stage to construction of their new fiber networks.

The networks will bring a future proofed broadband services platform which will deliver an open access infrastructure for service providers. This allows them to offer a fast, affordable, and reliable service, upon an all-fiber network. This revolutionary network will serve nearly 50,000 homes and businesses across both cities.

Following on from our design work, NetPMD teams are now actively planning the installation for data centre connectivity, dark fiber, provisioning street cabinets, and configuring the setup of the new Nokia active equipment that will make the network ready for service.

The citywide fiber network is poised to serve as the bedrock for economic development, providing digital prosperity to local industry, including some key global players such as Bosch and Nissan. This robust infrastructure provides a citywide footprint, leaving no property or business without the opportunity to connect. Furthermore, whilst being able to offer key smart city applications, it ensures this advanced network can continue to embrace latest technology adoptions over its lifetime.
