NetPMD's Corporate Social Responsibility

Everything we’re doing to ensure we’re building a better world, together, in conjunction with our fiber network projects.

Our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goes beyond business operations. We believe in giving back to the communities that support us through our fiber network initiatives.

Through our dedicated charity initiatives, we strive to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. Whether it’s through financial contributions, volunteer efforts, or partnerships with local organizations, we are devoted to fostering a culture of compassion and support.

Our partnership with The Movement Centre

Local to our UK Head office, The Movement Centre is an Oswestry-based charity and specialist treatment center that’s dedicated to supporting children and their families living with movement difficulties.

The Movement Centre offers their hallmark specialist children’s physiotherapy called ‘Targeted Training Therapy’ – working every day to help children gain movement control, either as rehabilitation, or starting from scratch.

They have a committed team who work very closely with families to offer their ‘Targeted Training Therapy’ so children are enabled to develop new skills and become far more independent.  This can have a huge impact on their life; it can also make a big difference to the lives of their family and friends.

Snowdon walk & shark dive

NetPMD has worked with The Movement Centre to sponsor and participate in numerous charities fundraising events, including our twilight Snowdon Walk in 2024, and shark dive in 2023.

These events are great for building publicity for The Movement Centre, their services, and their trust. We have remained committed to working with them to plan and execute new events, that otherwise wouldn’t have gone ahead.

Sponsorship

Similar to many other charities, The Movement Centre has places in major athletic races all over the country to help their fundraising efforts.

NetPMD is proud to have been a sponsor of these events by funding their Running and Cycling events. NetPMD provided the uniforms for all participants and continues to see these uniforms in use for every event.

Christmas Concert, 2024

NetPMD is proud to be sponsoring The Movement Centre’s Christmas Concert for 2024, a festive voices extravaganza. With performances from The Fron Male Voice Choir, Shawbury Military Wives Choir and Os Rocks local community choir, this festive event will celebrate singing a variety of classical Christmas Carols.

The concert is on Saturday 7th December 2024, at St Oswalds Parish Church Oswestry. Doors open 6 pm with the concert starting from 6.30 pm.

It is £15 per ticket. Tickets can be purchased from The Movement Centre & Jeanie’s Catering found in Oswestry Market Hall on Wednesdays, Friday & Saturdays. Alternatively, you can ring The Movement Centre to purchase your tickets. 01691 404248.

"Through a course of Targeted Training therapy children can gain head control, so they can interact with their family; it can help children develop the skills to sit unaided, so that they can play with their friends. For some children it can enable them to walk, which means they can be far more independent! A huge thank you to NetPMD for their kind support."
