NetPMD, a provider of network design, engineering, and integration services, has been supporting Parker Communications with their fiber deployments for several years across the Texas and Arizona markets and continue to expand their partnership to support the rapid expansion of fiber network deployments across the United States. 

As demand for high-speed connectivity continues to accelerate and driven by FTTH expansion, middle-mile infrastructure, and key broadband initiatives. Parker Communications has engaged NetPMD to enhance its engineering scale, streamline deployment processes, and support increasingly complex network environments. 

Through this partnership, NetPMD delivers design engineering services with GIS-based planning, high-level and low-level designs including permits, construction packs, bill of materials and compliance, as well as active integration support across Parker Communications’ fiber projects. The collaboration enables a more seamless connection between design/engineering and construction, reducing delays, and improving overall project execution.

The following bespoke collaborative deliverables help improve business case models for both parties: 

• – Constructable Design – Collaboration on Engineering to create designs that are more practical to build in field. This has proved to reduce re-work and create less As-built changes.  
• – Assessment Design – Street center line design to decide on new areas to build, which areas are more or less expensive, etc.  

• – Front Lot Line Assessment – Identifying homes with a certain front-line distance to ascertain what areas to build more economically for the ISPs and operators.
