Junior Network Engineers

We are currently seeking multiple Junior Network Engineers to be based in the UK. You will work closely with the Senior Engineering Team to assist in deploying Telecommunications solutions to our customers. You will have the opportunity to be working on live customer environments applying configurations whilst updating documentation and creating network topology diagrams to track customer network states.

Responsibilities

Assist in Design, development and implementation of IT networks and infrastructure services.
Perform general maintenance and system upgrades
Support 3rd Parties in Integration activities and offer technical guidance on deployed solutions
Undertake typical break fix support activities on all networks related infrastructure and services
Complete work to agreed time scales
Ability to take direction from management and execute works in an efficient manner

Proactive in the resolution of engineering obstacles, conferring with management
Document Customer Network Topologies
Perform other related duties as assigned
Ensure compliance with all current client processes and procedures
Assist in developing automation software tooling to bring efficiency within the organisation
Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external clients

Requirements

Either 2 years’ experience working in the Telecommunications field or having completed a technical degree
IP Routing & Switching Fundamentals
Resourceful, action-orientated with experience in getting things done, overcoming obstacles, and developing creative solutions to problems
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organisational skills including attention to detail
Able to travel to the US (obtain a US ESTA)
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Visio/PowerPoint
Basic understanding of Networking technologies
Cisco Accreditation CCNA or Nokia Accreditation NRS I
