Project Coordinators

NetPMD currently has openings for Project Coordinators, who hold a background in QA specialism, to become part of our ever-expanding global team. Successful candidates will be US based, with the ability for regular travel to markets across the country. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide exemplary project communication and adhere to project / jurisdictional requirements
  • Ensure equipment has been installed to the correct specified standards (cabling, powered and racked correctly).
  • Follow up and problem escalation to correct parties.
  • Interface to project management office (PMO) for reporting
  • Managing third party providers(3PP)
  • QA post installation of physical active network deployments
  • Tacking fault resolutions to the end.

Qualifications

Requirements
  • Associate Degree or greater preferred
  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ history of working with either/and fibre design and planning FTTP, networks or telecom in general.
  • PM certification
  • US based with US experience
  • Managing teams and/or 3rd parties
  • Experience working to strict deadlines and encouraging others to do the same.
  • Customer facing experience.
  • QA Specialism
Experience
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Supplier Management: Ability to communicate and deal effectively with third parties to ensure that external dependencies are adequately managed.
  • Experience of driving good practice.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a Project coordinator role, onsite engineering/delivery role
  • Some physical installation experience of networks required (cabling, loading configurations onto devices)
Skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and routine office equipment
  • Good documentation and analytical skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Competent with some form of PM reporting tool. Project online preferred.

  • Proven ability to provide effective and timely communication to customers and project teams.
